催產激素 (Oxytocin, a.k.a. Cuddle hormone) 是一種荷爾蒙, 有控制雌性哺乳動物乳汁分泌的作用。據說這也是女生比較在意同事同學相處是否愉快的原因. 而且似乎也會對人臉的記憶力產生影響.

這麼說來, 我是一個記不住人家長相又不在乎同事同學相處是否愉快, 應該是缺乏Oxytocin的錯, 而不是我比較機車XD

這樣可以說是因為我比較 Man 嗎? 哈哈哈

今天去參加了這個單位的研究生餐聚, 主題是心理特質, 我們討論了九型人格測試. 現在網路上也有很多免費的中文測試, 有興趣的人可以做一下.

有趣的是, 我們統計了一下在場的七八位研究生(生物,化學和工程背景), 最多的是第三型成就者（The Achiever）, 而第四型藝術型（The Individualist)則完全沒有! (不虧是科學家團體)

Retreat

上個禮拜才從 retreat 回來, 我不知道要怎麼翻譯 retreat, 它有點類似員工旅遊, 或者員工的互動交流時間. 但是和員工旅遊不同的是, 似乎也不是完全放下工作, 而是像是用比較輕鬆的方式進行討論交流, 以期增經同事之間的感情和生產力.

As we learn to be with each other in different ways, we develop deeper understandings of who we are as individuals and as a group. Spending time with coworkers in a way that is fun, relaxed, and reflective can be nourishing as well as productive. Rarely in this culture do we take the time to simply pause from the frantic pace of our actions. A commitment to pausing on an organizational level can lead to the manifestation of an entirely different and powerful orientation toward work, vision, community, and self.

Independence Day

剛剛收到公司的通知信說 7/4 附近有煙火活動. 我才注意到 Independence Day 要到了.

第一個閃過我腦海的念頭是...."可以在 Independence Day 看我一直很想看但沒看的 Tom Cruise 的 Born on the Fourth of July 一定很有fu"

然後第二個閃過我腦海的念頭是 "為什麼我第一個想到的不是去看煙火!? 難道這就是阿宅的明証!?"
